W205 C-Class Wiper Blade Specifications
The Mercedes-Benz W205 C-Class (2014–2021) uses a flat (beam) wiper blade design — no conventional frame. The aerodynamic flat blade provides even pressure across the sweep arc and performs better at motorway speeds. Correct sizing is important: an incorrect length wiper will either leave unswept areas or foul on the A-pillar.

Mercedes-Benz OEM wiper blades are supplied primarily by Bosch (the Aerotwin range) and Valeo. The blade in Mercedes dealer packaging is a Bosch or Valeo product to Mercedes specification. Bosch Aerotwin blades in the correct size for the W205 are a genuine OES alternative.
Replacement Interval
Wiper blades should be replaced annually or when streaking and smearing begins. In Northern Europe, replacing before winter is recommended — cold temperatures degrade standard rubber blades more quickly.
How to Replace W205 Wipers
- Lift the wiper arm away from the screen to the service position (it locks at 90°).
- Press the release tab at the centre of the blade where it meets the arm hook.
- Rotate the blade and slide it off the hook — the blade drops free.
- Align the new blade with the arm hook and click it into position until you hear a click.
- Lower the arm back to the screen slowly — do not let it snap back against the dry glass.
